A renowned businessman from Kanpur and founding member of Dalmia Group, Anil Dalmia has been associated with B.K. Birla & Aditya Birla Group for five decades. His roles as Stockist, Dealer, Agent, C&F Agent, and Handling Agent for Grasim Industries Ltd., Hindalco, UltraTech Cement, and Century Pulp & Paper have earned him wide recognition in the business fraternity across the UP region.
With over 30 years of experience in entrepreneurship, management, business planning, financial analysis, operations, and decision analysis, Mr. Dalmia has built DTL Ventures to its current scale while establishing a culture of ethics, discipline, and trust at every level of the organisation.
His cross-functional expertise across cement, aluminium, paints, paper, and yarn — spanning multiple Birla Group businesses — is much respected and sought after in the region's logistics and business community.
An enthusiast in technology and operations, Naman Dalmia has been instrumental in transforming DTL Ventures into a fully digitalized logistics enterprise. A Graduate in Computer Science from Christ University, Bangalore, Naman began his career at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), serving Avery Dennison Corporation (USA) and Jaguar Land Rover (UK).
Joining the family business in 2017, he built DTL Ventures' proprietary ERP platform — a first-of-its-kind digitalization for Rake & Warehouse Handling and Primary and Secondary Transportation in India's building materials logistics sector.
He led the landmark initiative of becoming the first company in India to deploy 100% EV Vehicles for local deliveries for Birla Opus Paints, and oversaw the adoption of ADAS technology across the entire fleet. He now heads DTL's Customised ERP Solutions vertical and its AI-driven fleet analytics programme — applying artificial intelligence to vehicle movement and fuel consumption analysis to enhance utilisation and reduce operating costs.
